Wireless Genos
« on: February 11, 2018, 02:22:32 AM »
I’ve got the Genos connected to WiFi.

What can I do with that connection?  I’ve read manuals and looked on forums, I’m not sure I understand the capabilities?

For instance, can I do an OS update via wireless?

I really do not use wifi/wireless that much on Genos.

I do the OS updates via USB.

thanks

So far I've only used it for transfer additional packs via YEM. Works well.
I think the 'Musicsoft Downloader' sofware can be used wireless to transfer files forth and back from PC as well as run backup.
So far I have not tested much, as there are so many other things to get familiar to.
Also I have been too lazy to read manuals as much I usually do .....  :o
Cheers 🥂

You can use a I-Pad with the wifi connection , The Audio recorder app is the most easy way yo make a quick recording and put the Mp3 track direct on the soundcloud page , very nice app
There are more nice apps for the Genos , but i hope they make a sound editor like they have on the Mox and Motif range , The fader app of the Motif works also on the Genos .
