The check marks on the YEM
« on: February 04, 2018, 12:03:18 PM »
Hello! I sucessfully loaded one expansion pack on my Genos through WiFi and it went perfectly. Then I loaded six more simultaneously and that went perfectly. However, the original pack that installed was gone.

When I loaded the additional six, I didn’t have the one already loaded “checked” in the YEM on the computer. Could this action have deleted it?

Now if I want to add the first pack again, should I also check the six on the YEM that are already loaded into the Genos? I am afraid that the YEM might try to load them again when they are already on the instrument.

If that indeed is my problem, this is pretty easy to do! Just need the practice.

As you've found out, YEM always starts fresh. It erases the memory, then loads in whatever you've checked.

So you have to rerun it, checking all 7 packs.

What pakcs you checked the last time you ran it is what will be in memory.

Thank you so much! It loads the packs rather quickly, so that shouldn’t be a problem.
