I liked the sounds of clarinet and flute but the style's sounds didn't sound so much folklore to me.
I would like the sounds of folklore music also not to be so perfectly "equalized".

This is romanian folklore, not greek :) And it sounds like romanian folklore.

Everyone makes it's pack sound good on its own PA system. This is happened also on Iulik and Costel Vatamanu... Both of them has developed romanian folklore styles, but both of them made the EQ sounds good on its own sound system. I was on that presentation, and, regretfully, I didn't like at all the sound.
But I already have Genos, I know how it sounds, and thanks I bought it before this demo, because if I would not have bought before this demo, definitely now I would have had Korg PA4X :)

Vali

Val,
folklore music is not the same everywhere but I wouldn't like for example to hear a bass line as it is on the style of the first video.
When folklore music was played hundreds of years ago all over the world they didn't use a bass.
I know nowdays that people use many more organs to play this music but I would like better the style not to have sounds of electrical instruments in it for that kind of music.

Hi Panos,

In fact you are right, what you see it is <actual> folklore music.
They have also some styles more near to your definition with: acoustic bass with bow very well done, acoustic guitars, a very simple drum(only the big one and cinel), braci (viola for accompaniment), cimbalom, violin, accordions (all non electric instruments).
Many ears ago our folklore was with only one kind of guitar (cobza) violin and a small cimbalom.
