Midi files with audio (vocals)
« on: February 02, 2018, 04:09:00 AM »
I recently discovered MIDI files with vocal (tracks?) in them.  None of the editing software that I have opens them.
I some apps that will play them ok, but what software creates or edits these files?

A midi file can not have vocals in it.(only some human alike voices we know on keyboards)
They are not midi files.
They could be wav files or mp3 files or whatever.
Someone has just rename the files as midis but they are not so that's why a midi player cannot open them.

I believe they do it to just to make you enter the site and make you believe that you will download a midi file.
Don't trust that kind of files and sites.

go to the file
right click
properties
check there what kind of a file is this.

Good advice from Panos. Sounds suspicious....
