Saving effects to and OTS
« on: January 19, 2018, 11:14:10 PM »
Hello Everyone:

This is driving me crazy.
Is there a way to save sustain effect to an OTS in a style, so I don't need to manually tap it again.
Example I want OTS 1 to have a sustain,  and OTS 2  not to have the sustain (different voices).
It seems I need either to tap the sustain button on and off.

Thank You

Hi Skyview,

Try this http://psrtutorial.com/util/best.html

If you edit each registration line you can set the sustain to off.

Id had to do this for the initial touch otherwise it came on each time I changed the registration. :(

I am not sure if T4 works the same like the s750 with the OTS feature
but if it does:

Press OTS 2
Press voice 1
Look to your screen it is a voice set box down right and select it.
Now you are at the voice set tabs.
Press the tab buttons and move to 3rd tab called "SOUND".
Down center of your screen is the "RELES".
Level it up to your desire.
Press memory button and then press OTS 2.
Save the style.
Do the same if you want the right 2 voice,or left voice of the OTS 2 to have a permanent sustain also.

You don't have to save the voice as a different voice,as long it is saved on OTS of a style
and you don't change the folder of the original voice.
So be carefull if you can use only one expansion pack at the time and haved used the voices of it on styles.
I think that if you remove an expansion pack from keyboards memory,it will be unable to load the voices you have used from that expansion pack even if you save the styles.
