playing Tyros and a PSR 900 series ??

Owners with a Tyros and a PSR 900 series

Hi friends,

I am thinking to get me additionally a PSR 970.

I wonder if it is a problem if you are used to hit the keys /chords of the Tyros
to hit / find these chords on the PSR as the keys of the PSR are smaller .

Any experiences ??

Cheers
Udo

Hi Udo

I have a PSR-S910 and Tyros4. To me the size of the keys feel the same, but there is a different feel to it when playing. Difficult to describe, but I would say it feels a bit lighter.
I played a S970 in the music store and to me it feels the same as the S910.

I think the S970 is a great keyboard, but the Tyros5 is just superior and in another class.

Regards

Rudi

Hi Rudi,

Thank you very much for your answer :) :)

I understand your comparison and I think I will check that again with my music shop.
For me its probably more interesting to get the 970 for a god price and play the little brother parallel
my Tyros than waiting for expected "Genos" update of the PSR series. ;)

Cheers
Udo

I think the new 975 is out now so check it out before you buy 970. It has a few additions to it.

Thank you Eileen, I will check that although I can get the 970 over here
now for 1400 EURO , new & originally packed.
The 975 costs something around 2100 EURO. I don't know if thats worth it ?????   :) :)

Best Regards
Udo
