Any difference in 730 & 740 styles?
« on: December 15, 2017, 10:58:25 PM »
As I've been browsing around I notice files of 730 styles and files with 740 styles.  Is there any difference in the styles from the one or the other?

Earl, do you mean styles that were extracted from those models, or styles that someone converted to work with those models?

Hi

740 was the first model having 4 main parts in preset styles.

From the drawings of the panels in their manuals, it looks like the PSR-640/740 also had two buttons for intros ("Count Intro" and "Intro"), as well as two buttons for endings ("Simple Ending" and "Ending"). But I thought that the old two-variation SFF1 format also supported two intros and two endings, even if the keyboards didn't actually have separate buttons for them, so I'm not sure whether the PSR-630/730 supported two intros and two endings, or just one intro and one ending.
