YEM instalation

Perhaps you could tell us what procedure you are following.I imported my instrument info file tonight without problem to YEM

I presume you have exported your inst. file correctly to a USB stick from your Genos,then connected the USB to your PC then tab to import inst. file on YEM,then point to the file on the USB.

Yes  I  did   it  that  way;

l had the same problem, where it kept coming up with the message "Instrument info could not be imported"

l had updated the YEM from 2.41 to 2.5, and in the program list on Windows 10 it showed up as 2.5. But when l clicked the small button at top right on the YEM program it showed up as the old 2.41 version.

l deleted the 2.41 version completely, then deleted the 2.5 version from my download folder. Went back to download on Yamaha website and downloaded the 2.5 version again. Finally worked fine after doing that.
