seaboard and tyros
« on: September 10, 2017, 02:10:06 AM »
I just discovered a Tyros musician that uses the Seaboard in conjunction with the tyros.

Seems to be a good match:

Btw he is a really good live performer as well.

Yea, that Roli Seaboard is really cool. Would love to try one, but I am trying to keep my setup as streamline as possible using one arranger keyboard for my performances.

The Roli is very organic in nature with huge freedom of expression from the user. Discipline and correct technique will be required to make traditional instruments sound authentic. Personally, I would love more Yamaha SA2 type voices, improved, or similar SA technology to simulate authentic sounding voices. More aftertouch control or more expressive aftertouch keybed would be nice on future Yamaha arranger models or perhaps an added ribbon controller.

Thanks for the interesting video.
