Stand for PSR S970
« on: August 01, 2017, 02:12:37 AM »
Hi

Can anyone suggest a suitable stand for my 970 please?   It would be a permanent fixture to the keyboard with just a few gigs elsewhere.

Regards
Charles

I use a standard X stand like this:

It works perfectly. No need for Spider Pro etc.

I use an X stand like Voodoo for gigs, but i prefer an On Stage Z style stand for my home studio use. It gives me a bit more leg and foot room for long practice sessions.

Charles,  I have been using this one with both my old PSR-S3000, and now with my new PSR-S970.
Both at home, and on gigs without any problems at all.  Folds up nicely, and is very easy to carry.

I always find a cross stand is uncomfortable when sitting and using foot pedals.

Thank you Eileen for the idea of using the Stagg stand mentoned in your post. Would it also be ok for Tyros 5 61 key?

Does it fold up flat?  If so much better than the X stands.

Thank you everyone for some very good suggestions.  I  finally opted for the Stagg and collected it today.  It is  great value, roack steady but still light enough for gigs.

Best regards
Charles

I like the "Stay". It has a very beautiful design, it can use two keyboards and also serves to hide the wires.
