expension error via yem but also via usb.
« on: July 16, 2017, 01:19:18 AM »
Hey guys,

sorry for my English i know it is not at all the best   :-[, but may i try to ask for help ?
Suddenly all the content on my expansion mem was gone.
I tried to reload some of my stuf and this is what happens.
In yem i see my Voice Wave Size 91 / 1023 after reloading some drums, but i receive a error in yem : unable to start installation, return to the main display on the instrument. (0x80020000), on the t5 i see this message : Installation has been cancelled. Please turn the instrument off once and then back on.
When i add stuff via yem i get the same error but when i ask the status of my mem he gives me the correct status.
If i try to install via usb i see the exact same message on the tyros.
On the t 5 i do not see any voice nor drum kit in the expansion.
Thanks in advance for your help and or advice.

It sounds like one of the packs may be faulty.

Hi Guyske

I just had a similar problem and got help from Marcus here in this forum. Just think if you have the latest YEM 2.4.1 because the former YEM does not work with Sierra on Mac, I do not know it's similar to Windows.

guyske,

If I remember correctly, I had a similar problem when loading a bank of sf2 Voices into YEM.  I had to delete them one at a time to find the bad sample.  Eileen may be right.  If a single Voice is not formatted correctly or corrupted some how,  the pack will not convert and save as an Installation file.
