They are for actual Models like PSR-S970/T5 only.

Peter (from CMS) builds very good sounds and sound packs. HE also sell very good steinway and B3

PSR-A3000 should work, too. These are the YEM compatible models.

I am afraid, it is not possible. To my knowledge, there is no known way to extract sounds from PPF packages. YEM can import T4 UVN voices, but not export voices in any format other than PPI.

Having downloaded a selection of these .ppf files, added them to My Pack in the Expansion Manager, and thence, with other selected packs to the Expansion Folder in the User Area of the PSR, my question is, do these voices have to stay as a un-organised collection, or can the Expansion Manager be used to create folders into which they can be copied?

alan,

If I understand your question... the answer is YES.

How to do:

1. Export Content by category of instrument / Voice Type eg;  Synth, strings, pad, Brass, etc (select each Voice by type and export as a group)

2. The Export Content will be saved as a .ppf Project File

3. Once you have exported all Voice groups create new packs.  (if you have saved 4 different Voice categories create 4 new packs and name them, eg, Synth, Strings, Pads, Brass, etc

4. Load the Voices you saved that match up with the pack names (the .ppf Content you saved)

5. When you load these packs into your keyboard, they will be organized by Voice type / category similar to how the Preset Voices are organized.

6. You might put a prefix on the pack names, eg; P-Synth, P-Strings, P-Pads, P-Brass just to have a distinction from the Preset Folders

Gottit! Thanks (again) Joe. After owning and loving my PSR-S970 for a year now, I sometimes wonder how far I should have got without the unstinting help given by the members if this forum. I suspect, not very far.

Hi Voodoo,

Thank you for your link to the nice free CMS-sounds.

Eileen,

I had the same trouble like you; all sounds  for the PSR-S970 were downloaded in the .htm-format. This happened when I used the Windows 10 built-in browser Edge.
After installing the free browser Opera, all files downloaded lightningfast in the .ppf-format.
