Anybody know the differences between these Yamaha keyboards?    I see that the PSR-550 has fewer voices.   :P

The PSR-550 and PSR-S550 keyboards are completely different models.

On the other hand, the PSR-S550 and the PSR-S550B are identical models except for their colors-- the "B" at the end means "Black."

The date at the top of the PSR-550's MIDI Implementation Chart is "30-NOV-2000," so presumably it was finalized sometime in late 2000 or early 2001, and released sometime during the first half of 2001. This was before the PSR line was subdivided into the PSR-E and PSR-S lines.

The date at the top of the PSR-S550's MIDI Implementation Chart is "11-APR-2008," so presumably it was finalized sometime in 2008, and released in late 2008 or early 2009.

PSR 550 HAS BETTER VOICES THAN PSR S550 EXCEPT IN THE CASE OF PIANO AND ELECTRICAL PIANO VOICES.......OTHER VOICES IN PSR 550 IS AWESOME. THE SWEETNESS OF THE VOICES IN YAMAHA PSR 550 IS NOT THERE IN YAMAHA PSR S550 OR PSR S5650.
