Jeff,

When you load a .ppf into YEM you can select just the files you want to go into the .ppi file that gets loaded into your keyboard.  What I've been doing is having to load different packs and listen to the Voices and styles and write down what I want to keep.  Eventually I will have a list of Voices, styles and Multi Pads I like from each of the packs, and will create a custom pack with just the "content" I want.

Thank you very much for your fast reply, Joe ! :)

One cannot extract any voices and/or other files, save them separately ( like *.vce or *.sty ) and play them separately ?

Am I correct ?

Plse advise.
Thanks and best regards, Jeff

You can save the styles to your user section but you then must make sure you have the voices that they use loaded.

Jeff,

You can extract only style files from the .ppi file and that's all.  .ppf files do not have .vce files.  Everyone would like to extract the Voices from packs. I think the only Voice format that really works for what you want (ready to use Voices) is the UVN files, and those must be installed using YEM.

For the sty / install pack (ppi) and in style creator save the style in user  - carefully these styles will not work properly without voices from the pack OR <re-voice>.
For the voice / select a voice (or many) on YEM and <export selected content as pack>

As Mihai says... It won't do you any good to try to extract styles from packs.  The Voices are unique and the drum kits are incompatible with other drum kits.
