PSR this the best value PSR ever ?
« on: January 21, 2016, 04:31:39 AM »
I'm a full-time entertainer and didn't realise the S770 had mic-input as the 700/750 didn't before.
The S770 is nearly half the price of the S970. I mean.....just how many voices/styles does anybody need ?
My audiences still think my PSR 3000 sounds great. I think,to a degree, audiences have been desensitized over the last decade with singers' backing tracks everywhere. No one is actually playing anything nearly as much as before.
Anyway.....anyone pleased with their S770 ?

I would say the 770 is likely the best value for money keyboard at the present time,  I have the 970,  but I have played the 770 a few times because my neighbour has one.  Most people who own the 770 seem delighted with them,  as long as you can get one that does not have the A-E/F-J button issue, which is affecting a few 770/970 boards. (which may have only affected early boards, but unsure at this stage),32258.msg240271.html#msg240271

I don't think you can go wrong with the 770 for the price they are retailing for,   sound quality wise there's little noticeable difference between the 770 and 970 models,  none that I've really noticed anyway other than a few voices less than the 970, and it still has enough memory to load in 3  or 4 expansion packs, dependant on size.

Personally I think the 770 is an excellent value for money board.   :)
