PSR S900. Variation buttons need pressing hard to function.
« on: January 21, 2016, 04:24:27 AM »
Hi folks,
I'm guessing the contacts need cleaning. I took my PSR 3000 apart(thanks youtube) to replace keys contact strip and that went ok.
Just wondered if anyone's had the S900 apart for this purpose of cleaning button contacts ? Hope this is all it is.
John.

I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. Since I acquired the Tyros 5, I don't play the 910 nearly as often, and I have to "exercise" the variation buttons several times to get them to respond, very frustrating.
I tried to take a 720 apart for a minor repair, it really isn't designed to do it easily, never got it back together to operate properly. Not going to take the chance on the 910, unless the problem gets worse, which it probably will.
