You cannot buy the preset styles for any Yamaha keyboard.

Every style from every Yamaha keyboard should work on a 950 or 900. However, if the style is asking for a voice the keyboard doesn't have, it may sound sub-optimal and you may want to revoice it.

The PSR-S900 uses the SFF1 style format so it should play styles of this type, such as those from earlier Yamaha keyboards.

The style file format was changed to SFF2 (SFF GE) with the introduction of the Tyros3 in 2008.  The S900 will not load styles of this format which means those from the PSR-S910/710, S950/750, S970/770, Tyros 3, 4 and 5.   However SFF2 styles can easily be converted to SFF1 using Jørgen Sørensen's 'Style Format 2 Converter' computer program for PC, available from the page at this link... http://www.psrtutorial.com/util/sorensonStyle.html , and should then load on your S900.

Although the program converts the file format, it does not change the voices used, so as Fred said, there may be voices used for style parts or in the style OTS for the main voice parts (Left & Right) which are not available on the S900,  which means that you will probably have to revoice the converted styles to some extent.
