Title: Send To Instrument vs thumb drive transfers with YEM

Ideally, which is better when using YEM - WiFi or thumb drive?

I'm not great at file management, so ease is more important (if that applies here) vs efficiency.
I called Yamaha Support a while back for another reason and asked them to help me set this up. THe effort was unsuccessul. After some time, we agreed to use the thumb drive approach.

Any direction is appreciated!!

It all depends on how reliable your broad band speed is and if you get a good signal.
I prefer to use USB.

I go with USB flash drives, too.

The drives are so big that I keep transferred files, etc. on the drives and don't erase them. You never know when you need a back-up copy?

It's not just the data, but the time you have invested in style collections, songs, and so forth. Good to stay backed up!
