Title: Tyros 3 sound from headphones but not when they are out
Post by: Bell140 on May 21, 2022, 12:32:41 AM
I am getting no sound if the headphones are unplugged but can hear it through the headphones. Any suggestions? Have tried a reset and that didn't do it.

Headphones are normally supplied with two adapters 3.5 & 1/4".
Check one of the adapters is not left in the keyboard.

Make sure you don't have your speakers switched of.

Hi Bell140,

Please check the following setting:

In "Function > Utility > Config 2" the "Speaker" parameter must be set either to "Headphone SW" (speaker sound is cut off when headphones are plugged in) or to "ON" (speakers are always on). be. With "OFF" the Tyros3 speakers are always off.

If the "Speaker" parameter is not set to "OFF" here, check that the TRS-MS03 speaker system is connected properly.

Hope this helps!

Best regards,
Chris

I had exactly this a few days ago after disconnecting everything and mounting on a new stand.
Stupid mistake, I hadn’t connected the sub-woofer.
Worth checking.
