Have you seen this - rather elementary for a CVP-player but a nice addition for CVP-junkies. I have only seen three so far from Cunningham pianos. More are coming...

No white CVP 809 GP. I’ll stick to my black 605 & 709 for now. Perhaps next model...?

I don’t know how many he does but the 4th one is a nice intro to registrations.

Yes, registrations is the way to go. Hope he dives deeper into all the possibilities that’s built into this instrument.

Yes, the latest models of the CVP are great for piano players who want the extra pzazz you get from the accompaniment and other arranger features. Not portable of course, but I bet most of the Genos bought never leave the house anyway.

Loved to see tutorials indepth Menu Editing on the new DGX670.
Outstanding value £799 UK.
Excellent piano including CFX and 601 voices and 250 Styles.

Don’t know if you posted on the wrong board?

I know the DGX line is of good value, but I can tell you that when I upgraded from my 650 to my CVPs it was a big leap in every way. Moneywise also, but I think the touch, tone and user interface was well worth it compared to what I was playing on before.

I think Graham’s point is that for piano players who want that extra pzazz the DGX provides a lot of what the CVP provides at a much lower cost and of course unlike the CVP is portable and could be used for gigs.
The CVP has higher quality in several regards, but at around a 5th of the cost the DGX is worth consideration. If I were doing gigs I might lean towards a DGX rather than a PSR or Genos because it suits my style of playing, as the CVP does. And although the tutorials are specific to the CVP, they are actually seem pretty informative for all beginning Yamaha arranger players.
