Hi all !!
Please help me with step by step process to move a MIDI file of the "Dance" by Garth Brooks from the key of "G" to "C:
If I can do this one, I can do others: Thanks

Any DAW or MIDI editor can presumably do this. There are a number of free MIDI editors (https://www.google.com/search?q=midi+editor+free&oq=midi+editor+free) available online.

Thanks: I think that it can be done on the T4 without an editor.

Why not just use the transpose buttons on the keyboard?

OK: I was able to change the key and save it.. I THINK ??? THAT One of the problems is that the main window does not show the MIDI file information other than the file name up top. "Like "the Dance" . All the other info on the monitor is info from the last style file that I played. Confusing

I copied a midi that came with the keyboard. It was on a USB. It is now on my HD. "Old time R & R" When I play along with it, I have to play it in the key of "G". My guitarist says that he has to play it in the key of "D". We used a tuner to determine that he is correct and that the midi is in the key of "D" . What is going on ?? Is there a way to see the midi info to determine what is says about the key/

You have Transpose Assign set to Song, and transpose set to +5.
Change Transpose Assign to Master, and transpose to 0 if you want to play in the midi's key.

I have transposed style files and never had a problem. However, I never used MIDI files and am afraid to change anything called "MASTER" not knowing if it would change all the files that I already have. Besides, I do not know where that change would take place.
Thanks
