Audio must be on USB stick and in WAV format 44.1 kHz, 16 bit. Then go [MENU] - [M.Pad Creator] - [Audio Link Multi Pad]. Then touch the pad you want to link and select the audio file. Don't forget to SAVE!

Hi Thomas,

Please also read the chapter "Creating a Multi Pad with Audio files (Multi Pad Creator — Audio Link Multi Pad)" in the SX700 Reference Manual, pages 55/56. There you will find detailed information on this topic.

If necessary, you can download the Reference Manual here:
>>> https://uk.yamaha.com/en/products/musical_instruments/keyboards/arranger_workstations/psr-sx700/downloads.html#product-tabs

P.S.
Only audio files in .wav format "44.1 kHz, 16-bit, stereo" can be used for Audio Link Multi Pads. Other audio files (e.g. MP3 format) must be converted into the aforementioned .wav format before use, e.g. with "Audacity". This allows you to edit the audio files if necessary (e.g. cutting away "silence" at the beginning of the file, normalizing the digital level, etc.).

Best regards,
Chris
