Hi all,
How to add a Fade-Out at the end of a song already recorded without recording again the whole song ?
For ex. my song has 80 bars recorded. I want to add a Fade-out from the bar#70 for all the tracks of the MIDI song.
Thx,

On a PC, you can use MixMaster.
On the keyboard, you can use punch in/punch out.

Thanks so much Fred,
I prefer to work on the keyboard, so I will use the punch in/out.

Fred,
I set :
Rec Start : Punch in At bar 70
Rec Stop : Punch out At bar 76
Then I play in Rec mode and at bar#70, I hit the F assignable key to get the Fade-Out function.
It don't work.
Have a more detailed procedure ?

Bump
My conclusion is we can't do this with the Genos because the punch-in function deletes the present notes. Any other comment for adding a Fade-Out on the Genos ?
We can do this using MixMaster or a DAW.
Rgds,

Correct, you have to add the fadeout *while* playing; just pressing the fadeout button does nothing if there are no notes being played afterward.
If you've already got an existing recording, yes you can add a fade out manually after the fact without interfering with your existing notes, by going into the midi data, and manually add a volume change every beat or so (and go from whatever the current channel volume is to 0 over the desired length of bars, but at that point it's simpler to just do it through software, as you need to add the same fade data to all tracks.

Many thanks Mark to confirm my newbie conclusion. :)
