Title: Recording
Post by: artemike on August 04, 2021, 06:35:51 AM
Hi guys.

I recently bought my SX700 and I am still learning how to use it.

Sorry if this is a silly question but is it possible after a quick recording to proceed with multi recording on the already quick-recorded song  ?

I know the difference between the two procedures, I was just wondering if it was possible to combine them by executing quick recording first and multi recording afterwards

Thanks
Mike

Yes you can always record / edit on any midi song.
Just set the correct channel and you're good to go.

Just note Channels 9 to 16 are for styles ( Quick Rec )
Channel 5 to 8 Multi Pad ( Quick Rec)
Ch 1 R1 hand, Ch 2 left hand, Ch 3 R2 Ch4 R3 " tyros and genos '
(Quick rec)

Yes, once you have saved your quick recorded midi, it's just a standard midi file. You can edit, change and add to it just like any other midi file.

Give you Quick record song a name and then Save it. Now select the song and then go to record and select multi record. Your song title will show and you can then select any spare tracks to add to.
