It looks like Android is not useful for my SX900 applications.

I have to buy a Mac Ipad, right ?
Which one and which editing progs are needed and useful ?

Any iPad will work. Size, and therefore price, is a personal choice.

Don't think you'll find a DAW app on an iPad.
