Title: Does anyone know how to erase search memory PSR SX
Post by: Flupke on June 14, 2021, 07:51:05 AM
The question has been asked before but nobody knew then so I'll try again.
When I use the search function, it keeps looking for a USB stick that was once in it from the previous owner.
How can I clear this so he can see my files.....

so an option to clear the cache memory.

I just use the clear button in the search section to clear old searches. Do you have the latest 1.05 update installed.

Hi Flupke,

do you have a lot of files on your current USB stick? Then it will take a relatively long time until the search index has automatically updated. To my knowledge, there is no way to manually clear the search index.

Turn on the SX, connect the current USB stick and leave the SX one to two hours alone. Normally, the search index should then have updated.

Best regards,
Chris
