Title: Saving effects in mixing control
Post by: burns12 on May 03, 2021, 08:41:06 PM
Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a way in which when you load a style you can save the changes you make to the effects ‘hall 3’ etc to apply throughout the style instruments so that it does not reset when you change from I to II etc. I feel when you play with the styles the instruments sound really flat, I like to change the effect so it’s more real.

Cheers

Hi burns12,

after making changes to the Style Parts in the Mixing Console you can open the Style Creator and save the Style again there. (It is best to use a new or changed file name to avoid overwriting the source Style file.) Then be sure the NEW Style is loaded (not the previous one).

Alternatively you can memorize all changes just in a Registration: Press MEMORY button, make sure to have ticked all needed items, press the desired Reg Memory button (1 - 8⁣). If desired save other settings to other Reg buttons. Finally press "Regist Bank + and -" buttons simultaneously to call up the Regist Bank Selection display. Save the Registration Bank as a file to the internal User drive or to the internal hard disk or to a USB stick.

Best regards,
Chris

Hi,
watch the video from now on, this way you can change Reverb on all channels of a Style.

https://youtu.be/zuXxXAA2Xjo?t=121 (https://youtu.be/zuXxXAA2Xjo?t=121)

If you have an open mixer and do an effect modification, and only then open Style Creator to store new features, the effect will work on all Style channels.
If you open Style Creator first and then open Mixer, the change will only affect the Part that is currently active.
I described these differences in this video.
