I've been able to download a couple of midi songs into my USB stick - after inserting the USB into my sx 600, I can actually see the songs on the screen - however, I can not get them to play on my keyboard - WHY?

yes I tried - but NO success

Maybe a reset of SX600 back to default factory settings
Try another USB stick and what format was midi song in 0 or 1 format ? ..what is accepted midi format for loading in SX600?
-
Or the file name may be too long. Try shortenng the name.

I would be grateful to get all the SX600 preset styles.

You can get this here on the forum : search for : SX600 styles

NO Luck - now my psr sx 600 does not even read my usb stick - not sure what's going on - still struggling -
-
What did you do , that the USB is now not working anymore ?
-
Do you get an error message, or do you just not find your MIDI files on the USB stick?
If the latter, keep in mind that Yamaha keyboards have a file filtering system. That means that you can only see the files when you are in the right location for that file, i. e, you only see song files in song section, style files in style section and so on.

I'm able to download styles - however, somehow I need to be able to convert zip files and midi files into a readable language for my psr sx 600. How do I do this? At least there is hope seeing the styles in my keyboard and being able to play them -

For .zip files you could use winzip to extract to the original format enclosed in the.zip file.
