Hi guys, I've a friend who upgraded his t5 to the genos. He had purchased the celtic pack and wondered would this be compatabile with his new genos? He's interested in one STYLE, Bodhran 6/8 but cannot get this to load through YEM.

Hello,
I am not one of the Genos experts but I believe that if your friend goes to the Yamaha site he will be able to download the Genos version of the Celtic pack, plus many other expansion packs free of charge. Better to have the pack that was written for Genos.

That's correct - the Genos version is now free.

If he still has his T5, he can just copy the style to a USB stick and load it on the Genos. However, the style will have voices from the pac, so some voices will have to be added instead of those that are lacking. So the best think is what the other friends suggested :)

 Just a wee update guys. We managed to download the celtic pack but the style he wants is not on that pack. Is the genos celtic pack different from the T5 pack? Is there any other way of grabbing this style? I've the s950 with the style, however I cannot copy it from the expansion page. Any further help would be great.
