hi all
can i put the mdf from tyros 5 on the psr sx 700

Hi Thomas,
You can do it very easily. You need to transfer the MDF file from Tyros5 to a USB stick and read it on the SX.

Hi Thomas,

please note: If you have added YOUR OWN records to the Music Finder on the Tyros5, the current Music Finder status may not yet exist as an .mfd file (which you could simply COPY to a USB stick and then convert it into a Playlist on the SX700) . In this case you must first SAVE the current Music Finder as a file on the Tyros5:


Saving the Music Finder Records as a Single File:

1. Press the [7 ▲▼] (FILES) button in the MUSIC FINDER display to call up the File Selection display.

2. Press the TAB [⯇][⯈] buttons to select the location for saving (USER/HD/USB).

3. Press the [6 ▼] (SAVE) button.

4. Press the [8 ▲] (OK) button to actually save the file. All Records are saved together as a single Music Finder file.
