Title: Chancing styles psr into sty
Post by: janamdo on January 31, 2021, 02:14:07 PM
In the composer i could earlier load a .sty file
Now its not possiible anymore to do this loading with a .psr stle file

Now i have read also that i can chance the style extension for .psr  to .sty
Is this a good idea in order to load .psr style files into  the composer ?

Whether it’s a good idea is your determination.

But it won’t cause any problems. Just change the extension to .sty if that’s what you need.

Cheers,
Fred

Changing it won't affect how the style functions.
It only adds Pro bedside the name on the keyboard.
Norman.

Probably its written Pro in the midi file ( can use Cubase for this )

Has nothing to do with midi file.
It just changes the style name.

Some styles have a tag with name which reflects the way the style was meant to sound. I believe the tag ‘Pro’ is meant to mean an accompaniment made to sound more like pro musicians. It is unimportant in the style function.
