Title: tyros 4 music finder
Post by: lenzieman on November 08, 2020, 01:15:51 PM
I use my music finder a lot. I don't play professionally so it meets my needs. I've never really got into registrations to be honest. Of the 800 + tunes that are in MF, only a handful are of the original setup. But to my point....wouldn't it be nice if there was a row of buttons(A-Z) along the top of the display or buttons added to the existing (A-J) so that you could jump to the alphabetical section that contains the tune you want to play, saving you scrolling slowly, up or down. Going from "your cheatin' heart" back up to "a fool such as I" no problem, just hold down arrow button 1. Going from " oh,pretty woman"  to "hello mary lou" not so quick. Just a thought. And isn't our trusty Tyros a blessing in in these stressful times? Lockdown!-what lockdown?  Keep safe and well.everybods.

It’s been a while since I had my Tyros, but there is a button which will skip to the next letter (from the A's to the B's, etc.).

Take a look for it, as it will make scrolling much faster.

Cheers,
Fred

It's the button on the left.
