Title: Saving playlists on psr-sx700
Post by: Claude on October 12, 2020, 04:39:49 PM
I have been trying to save my playlists from my USB to the user files. Every time I save there, my files are not recognized.
Can someone help me? I read the book and looked in the manual but doesn’t show how to do this.
Thank you for your help.

If you are simply moving a playlist from one drive to another, you'll have no problem. However, regardless of where you put the playlist, it will look for its registrations in their original place. So while you can put the playlist on the User drive, if it was set up to look for registrations on the USB drive, it will still look for them there.

If, in fact, you're moving both playlists and registrations, then you'll have problems. You will need to modify the playlist so it looks for its registrations on the drive you moved them to. You can do this either on the keyboard, or, because a playlist is a simple .tsv file, a spreadsheet like Google Sheets can also update it.

Cheers,
Fred

Thank you for your fast reply, I am not too good on this, how would you do this in details?

The additional Playlists are designed to work from USB1 and not the User drive.

True, but there’s no reason they can’t be moved to User.
