Title: Extracting factory styles, kits and voices
Post by: HamzaA3000 on August 27, 2020, 06:57:33 AM
Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone was able to extract factory data (styles, drumkits or voices) from a Yamaha arranger? I believe it is not possible but just checking with you guys.

The reason is that I am interesting in copying some drumkits from older arranger to Genos (for example) so I can use older styles.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks,
Hamza

You can't copy Voices or Drum Kits. But maybe there is an expansion pack that contains the Voices and Drum Kits you wish to use.  Chance are the styles and Multi Pads from older keyboards can be found on the Main Site.

Hi
Invest in Sample Robot
Even better , if you have a daw like Cubase.
You can sample anything vst as well.
You have use Yem as well to finish and make your own packs.
If you have a daw this is the way to go. In my opinion.

All the best
John :)

You can download older Yamaha styles from here and they will use the older drum kits.
