Title: sx900 check for build version?

The hardware can be updated.
how do i see what version i have?

Software version should be shown on that screen

well it does on 700 so assume same on 900

yes it does on the 900 also

Hi anon125,

not the Hardware can be updated, of course. But the Software of the SX900 can (and should) be updated to the current Firmware version 1.05.

(Please do also download the Firmware Installation Guide from that site.)
