Title: How to create a style from WAVE Data? (SX900)
Post by: Bene on July 28, 2020, 05:06:34 PM
Hello!

I recently saw a video where someone converted a wave file into a style. Kind of like a wave loop. Unfortunately I can't find the video anymore and wanted to ask if someone can help me.

Regards,
Bene

The only way you can do that is when the Wave File is Loaded on the keyboard as Expansion Packs / Voices.
Then you are able to use the Wave as style.
You'll need to create a style.

The other thing could be Audio Drums unfortunately I don't have any experience with it. ( Other members will know)
Regards Norman!

Hi Bene,

The process of making a voice is described in the Yamaha Expansion Manager manual which is on-line. As Norman said you have to create the style with it... or add to an existing style.

Do you mean REX where an audio drum loop is chopped up into pieces?
