Title: recording audio during mp3-wav playing?
Post by: acorrias on June 09, 2020, 08:50:04 PM
Hi all
I have a question.

My psr s950 does not allow to record a new audio file during the playing of another. For istance, playing a song, removing the original singer voice and audio dubbing my voice coming from mic input. It not possibile also to record my keyboard playing during a song playing. For example adding a strings pad upon a song

Is it possible the do that with psr sx900?
thanks in advance.
Alex

Alex, i think you can do that; just connect your SX900 on bluetooth, just play you file from your bluetooth device and start recording your song with the onboard audio recorder, all the best Patrick

Hi,
my goal is another.
Suppose to have a mp3 file on the usb pen drive. So, you load the mp3 file to play it.

My goal is to record a new mp3 file obtained from the original mp3, for instance removing the singer voice, audio dubbing my voice and recording my keyboard playing (ad strings or piano). And the recording should use the same pen drive (or the second one with sx900). My questions rises from the knowledge of two usb ports of sx900.

With my psr 950 is not possible to record a mp3 while playing and mp3, perharps because it has only a usb port and it would be complex to read and to write at the same time. I thought that this would be possible on new psr keyboards with more the one usb port.  Sometimes my psr s950 cannot record a wav or a mp3 coming from a kar file playing, because of the conflict coming from the reading and writing at the same time.
