Hi Guys, I have a problem with MusiScore, and it is the following: I recorded a piano song on channels 1 and channel 2 of my SX900 (Right Hand and Left Hand) when I check the score on the Score screen of my SX900, they are displayed notes with the correct values, but when importing the song as a MIDI file into MusiScore, the score is displayed differently.
I tried to connect my SX900 via USB to the computer to send the direct notation messages, but it turned out to be a failure, because the program gives me another reading. what am I doing wrong? How can I configure MusiScore to faithfully reproduce notes as shown on my SX900 screen? I need to mail this score for an urgent class.
Thanks for the help you can give me.

It would help immensely if you described how "the score is displayed differently". Transposed? Different clefs? Right notes, but wrong clef? Something else?

most score apps and keyboards auto quantize the score for better reading but don't save that
you can quantize from a menu for saving those settings
It is better to make a score steptime for best result
Nobody can play and record a song with perfect timing

Hi Fred, Thanks for your reply.
In the following link I send screenshots of my SX900, and the PDF of MuseScore, so that you can see the error I'm talking about

I don't know MuseScore, as I use Finale, but they have similarities.
It looks like you've got your import set for a 3-clef piano score, when you want 2. I'd check your midi import settings.
You can also post your midi file, and I'll see if Finale imports it any better.
Cheers,
Fred

Hans,
I've loaded your midi into Finale, and it did a much better job of interpreting it. But it still needed a little work, so that's the "fixed" version.
I've also included the .musx, and xml export, in case that's of any use.
