Hi everyone, so i’ve had my SX 900 for a couple of weeks now and I’m still having difficulties with some things. After making changes to voices in the mixer I don’t know how to save them.
I thought I had it figured out at one point but then when I changed files and then went back to the one I changed all my changes were gone. The manual is pretty useless.
I’m liking the sx900 a lot but some of the os changes, missing buttons etc are frustrating
If there are previous threads on the topic of saving changed styles or midis I would very much appreciate some help in finding them.
Thank you
Jim

Now I’m off to day job but will check back later
Thx again

Hi Jim,
try to remember these two "rules":
If I want a style to change I must use the Style Creator.
If I want a midi to change I must use the Midi Multi Recording.
(it was called Song creator in previous models).
In both cases I can use the Mixing Console to help me modify the parts of the style or the midi song.
See page 80 of the Owner's manual:

These videos will help you also because the screen menus of SX900 and Genos are similar:

Hi Stratcat,
Panos gave you good advice. I would just add one detail. Before storing sounds in MIDI Multi Recording, Setup should be marked, as in the video.

Thx guys
I can’t wait to finish the work day, get home and try moving ahead taming this beast
Also, another thing I’ve noticed is that the “mono” button from previous models is missing.
Is there someplace in a menu where this can be adjusted or has the feature been discontinued?
I liked using it for some instruments such as blues harp and saxes.

You can turn on MONO in this menu. If you want to have a special button, you can use the Assignable buttons below the screen.
