All different brands of keyboards contain the option to adjust EQ & CMP Settings.
I'm wanting to learn about especially Compression CMP. Threshold OffSet & Ratio OffSet.
I understand that recordings studio's transmissions TV, Radio, CD's are all compressed to reduce the dynamic range by lifting very low volumes and lowering very high volumes other wise with standard dynamic music range low sounds would be hard to hear and high sounds over powering, we would forever be adjusting the volume of TV, Radio etc:
EQ setting are personal and are dependent on which speakers are used.
CMP. Having the correct CMP setting on a keyboard can bring the keyboard alive.
