During an outdoor consert my SX 900 suddenly became silent. Not a singel sound...after reboot it was ok again. And it happend twice. Has anyone else experienced this? Can I inadvertently hit a button or something, and what button? I dont think so..

the midi reset set local on and reset all midi errors

Okay, but if the problem is with the Local option, it can make this a simpler operation. ;)

The best is to find the source of the fault
The use of midi files can make this fault
Remove the local of event in the midi file

Hello Ingar
The same thing happened to me inexplicably.
When I restarted, it returned to normal.

It is not only the local off
Midi is complicated it can also be an overflow or a wrong order
in a performent or midi pad or style
The best is a reset with the midi set up use he midi off 8 preset
Set of and on the keyboard is dangerous
there must be a few seconds between them
you can blow up the power input in the keyboard
when you set a keyboard on a buffer condensator picks up the power piek
and by set the keyboard off the buffer condensator needs a little time to unload
check also off the hd is not reading or writing by set of the keyboard

It sounds like there are several bug fixes due for the sx900 OS. I'm sure Yamaha must be getting inform about the several problems people are talkng about on this forum... but they should be reported to Yamaha.
