Title: RegManager won't open *.rgt with one click
Post by: Dave Nuttall on March 17, 2020, 10:56:28 AM
Since getting my Genos about 3 months ago, I have begun using Murray Best's "Registration Manager" on Windows10/64.

My system is configured so that *.rgt files are related to the Registration Manager program.
However, in Files Explorer, if I click on a valid *.rgt, the program opens but in order to examine the *.rgt that I clicked, I have to use the "Load Registration" button inside the program.

Most other programs that I'm familiar with will load the file you clicked on in Files Explorer, as long as the system is configured so that the file extension is related to a specific program.

Anyone know how to make the Registration Manager open *.rgt's with one process?

TIA.
Dave

Hi Dave

The program is designed to open with NO Registration selected. The reason is that for many features you do NOT want a registration open.
All the batch / report features require a blank canvass.

It requires code inside YRM to do this and I haven't written it.
