does anyone have favourites ?
or are they all the same?
thanks all
PS we like the L3C stand and the WB2 Bench but have not bought them yet

I use the yamaha pedals. They never gave me a headache.
I've used parallel marks and they couldn't take it.

thanks but wouldn't the volume be better controlled by a Yamaha FC7 Volume Control Pedal ?
thanks

There are many acceptable alternatives. Most work just as well as the Yamaha.

With the M-Audio EX-P i think you can adjust the offset so the volume do not drop to 0 when the pedal is full up (it's better for drawbars organ sounds) ; i do not think it is possible with the FC7 or maybe i am wrong

I use FC-7...and a korg sustain (the sustain doesn't matter that much as to brand)

Many of these a very overpriced, you can always make your own for a fraction of the price.

My FC4, FC5 and FC7 - 'hammered' in concert and teaching for well over 15 years and all still working perfectly.
'Clone' footswitches and volume pedals (various makes including M-Audio and Bespeco) that I had before them - none lasted more than a year, except for one Proel footswitch (metal, not plastic).
So I agree with Joe H, you do get what you pay for - and you can find FC7s on ebay for reasonable amounts. One of my students just got one - it's a little scruffy but works perfectly. Who actually looks at a pedal anyway! :)

FC7's are all I use on my keyboards. One each for my Pa4X,SX900,Ketron Audya, and Hammond SK1. I have tried many others over the years, and return to these.
