Title: Expansion Manager question
Post by: VilleGuy on February 24, 2020, 03:11:50 PM
I just downloaded YEM along with some GENOS bonus style packages. I've never used YEM and I'm wondering: can use it to open the style packs and have the styles on my Mac desktop, so I can pick and choose which ones to place on a USB drive and then audition them on my S975?

(I don't want to load the styles into my S975.)

You can use YEM Content Explorer to extract the styles from the pack.

You can get the download link here:

Hi VillieGuy

Joe has very kindly pointed you in the direction of the YEM Content Explorer, however, I do not think it works with the MAC.

You could still try it.

His only other option is to install the pack and select each style then open Style Creator... and save the style to his USB drive.

I do have a Mac, so it looks like this will not be as easy as I had hoped.
Maybe I'll wait until my skills improve.  :)
Thanks anyway, guys.

P.S. I wish there were more Mac-based apps available to help with styles, etc.

I just copied the styles to a USB stick from my Genos and played them on my other keyboards. If you are going to install the packs anyway you can copy them from your keyboard.

What about the extraction of voices from pack .. is it easy to save voices as normal voice files ?
