Title: How To Mute Parts of Drumkit in Styles
Post by: dv01 on February 19, 2020, 03:13:08 PM

     Hi everyone and experts,

There are some styles that I want mute parts of the Drumkit.  I know it can be done in Style Creator but I don't know all the steps.  Please help!

     Thanks for your time.

If you want to mute Drum on all variations of the style, you first do it in the mixer and then just go into the style creator and save the Style. If you want to mute Drum only on a few variations, then first go into Style Creator and set what you want via the mixer. Like in this video.

If I understand your question... You can do this in Style Creator by TABing over to the edit page (list of notes) and either deleting the drum notes you don't want or setting the note Velocity to 1 (or zero).

Thanks ckobu and Joe.  Very useful info.  I think I know how to do it now.
