Title: Use of T1 & T2 registrations on SX-900?

Hi, I have several T1/T2 style packages from Style warehouse(now Strawberry music) and I would like to use them on my SX-900. I have read the styles will work, but how about the registrations?

You would have to convert the registrations. Use Murray Best’s program.

I have loaded a couple of Tyros 2 Reg. in my SX900 and they have worked fine.

I loaded a few today and they did work, but I'm not sure if they could be better??
Since the SX has a lot of new voices....so...question is does Murray's program optimize/use better sounds for the SX-900 vs what was in a T2 as example??

You will have to rearrange the voices yourself.

Regarding Lee's question of whether the newer voices are used from older regs,I have so many from the PSR S970 I want to use,but don't want to miss out on the new sounds.  I know many of the styles are the same,but would I be getting the reworked effects by importing the 970 reg? A different question is always whether the SX has a better style,but I guess auditioning is the only way to answer that.
