when we get the sx900 can the e313 styles be copied to it? maybe on a thumb drive?
I asked yamaha if - when the styles have the same name, are they the same style.
that was weeks ago- no reply yet.

Hi anon,
you would probably need to use Style Old Format Converter
http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/sofc/index.htm (http://www.jososoft.dk/yamaha/software/sofc/index.htm)
But what styles does an E313 has that you cannot find here from the presets of S series and Tyros line?
https://psrtutorial.com/sty/yamaha/index.html (https://psrtutorial.com/sty/yamaha/index.html)
E series have 2 Main variations.The SX900 has 4.
The difference of same styles between models is usually the different voices they are using.
The better the model, better and richer style parts and EQ.
So it's not always exactly the same style.
And even old styles with the same name are totally different now.
People cannot stand to hear the same old styles every time they upgrade to a newer and better model if you know what i mean. :)
We can copy as many styles as we want to a thumb drive and we can use them that way.
