It is nice to hear some great old tunes,with the styles and OTS already supplied by Yamaha.  I wish we had more of the equivalent of the the old MF with song suggestions. I know we have playlist with some,but not nearly enough.

Hi Bernie you can load the 970 MF into the SX900 and it will convert it to Play List.

I just found your post.  Thank you.  I am not very technical,and would ask the best way to get the MF over to my SX900.  I assume that since MF does not have the all of the parameters of registrations,I can convert the ones I want to a full playlist.

Although the video shows Genos it is exactly the same for the SX900. I have just loaded the Tyros 5 one into mine with no problem. It dose take a little time to convert but works fine

Here is a copy of Tyros 5 MF which works fine in SX900 and has more records on it.

You are,indeed,a blessing to me, and hundreds of others you have helped on the fine forum of Joe's.  Thanks to you,I have converted two MFDs to the SX900.  Now,it is just a matter of making up the reg files for the ones I want.
