What is the easiest way to convert a Multipad to a style part?

Mix Master,open multipad>Clipper.......Mix Master,open style>List>Process Events>Import Clip!

Import clip... sounds like -- need to import an audio clip of the pad.

Michael used the term "clip" instead of "loop" or "phrase".
MixMaster will extract (Export) any style Part or Multi Pad as a loop/phrase with just note data or with the MIDI messages that go with the style Part or Pad.

Open multipad>Clipper(scissors):For Channels -mark one item as desired
Click to change folder-eg. desktop
File Type Settings-save
Add Files
Start
Now we have our clip-multipad on the desktop!
Turn off the Mix Master and then open another Mix Master and open the style you want.
Go to List:mark only the channel you want
Process Events
Import Clip/File Channel....find your clip-multipad from desktop...open
From Channel....one of four multipad donors
To new Channel.....from 9. to 16. style channels
Determine the initial measure...eg.A Main, measure 2.1.000
Save As
Adjust the CASM settings on the keyboard as needed!

I've been trying to import a Pad phrase to Style file for a long time.
I had no idea it could be done with the Mix Master program.
Can you please explain how to make this in Mix Master program as easy as possible to understand...

There are other methods but this is the fastest and most transparent way.

Thanks for the detailed tutorial. This method works most of the time and it seems very logical.
It makes sense to import only one multipad channel at a time to a specific style channel, because it seems the interface doesn't seem to have options for directing multiple multipad channels to multiple style channels. That's just my superficial take on this method. There seems to be a ton on functionality buried in this amazing program, MixMaster.
One thing in particular that did not work too well. I tried to import the 3rd channel from a Genos multipad named Autobahn in the EDM Synth category, into a style. It's a portamento synth chord effect. As soon as I loaded it, it didn't sound in MixMaster like it sounds on the Genos... so I imported it to a style and it still sounded weird. I deleted extra bank/program change events in List view... and the existing bank/program change events in the resulting Style matched the bank/program change events in the multipad, so I don't know what the problem was.

Yes, when I get a minute, I'll try MixMaster with XGWorks to import multipads to a style. That would be great if it works more consistently than the other way I tried. Some multipads sounded wrong in exactly same way and in both MixMaster and in StyleMagic, and the way they played back in those apps is the way they will sound when imported into a style. I'm thinking that it may not be possible to import some multipads at all.

I tried importing a multipad into a style using ckobu's method below and it works very well. There was one particular multipad that I couldn't import into a style but it worked using his method which is to use XGWorks inside MixMaster.
There are other methods but this is the fastest and most transparent way.

I don't use MixMaster for this purpose, I use StyleMagic. I change the extension of a Multi Pad to .mid. When I load the Mid file into StyleMagic, I first delete all the MP controller and other MP-specific information from the List View. Then I open the Channels Manager and move the 4 Pads to the appropriate style channels. Next I insert a Main Section Style Marker for the 4 channels/parts. Next is to Auto Create a style. Then I go to the Mixing Console to mix the 4 style Parts with a Voice, Pan, Reverb and Chorus, etc and SAVE.
Now I copy the new Style to my USB drive and Load the style I wish to modify and Open Style Creator Assembly. Using Assembly, I can copy any of the 4 new style Parts to an existing style.
