Funny screen size for beeing a 809. But great playing!

He seemed to be generally playing over midis which is fine, except making the midis would not be trivial.
But I am puzzled what he is doing when playing ‘all of me’ different ways. It does not seem to be different midis as he is not triggering a new midi when he changes, but it still follows the chord sequence for accompaniment without him playing. I wonder if he is using the chord looper but changing styles to demonstrate a completely different version of the same song and how the looper can be used for full free playing over a ‘band’.

Well, I have to say I'm also confused.
Judging by the screen size and cabinet shape, the instrument is not a 809, it's a 805, unless of course i need my eyes testing???
THe screen on a 809 takes up the whole of the vertical aspect of the panel, whereas the screen in the instrument shown has a 25mm band top and bottom
which is exactly the same as my 805. Perhaps someone can confirm which model it is?
However, whichever it is, I was mightily impressed, a performance I can never hope to reach in my remaining lifetime :'(

If it is the 805, then I believe that to be a good thing, as hitherto all the previous demonstrations appear to be based on the 809
with the 805 being regarded as second class, which it is obviously not.
To my mind the 805 represents far better value for money and the cabinet design and shape more suitable for the average household.
